HZS120 Concrete Batching Plant Installed in Chile
AGICO delivered and installed an HZS120 stationary concrete batching plant in Chile. The plant is now complete and runs at 120 m³/h. The customer’s team and our engineers finished the project together, and the plant is ready for daily concrete supply.
Project Overview
AGICO shipped an HZS120 concrete batching plant to Chile. The plant is a fixed type and stands on a steel structure. It works with two cement silos, an aggregate batching machine, and a belt conveyor. The plant was shipped in modules. The site team unloaded the parts and assembled them step by step. Blue steel columns, platforms, and the inclined conveyor were lifted into place. The two cement silos were set up and connected to the mixer with screw conveyors. After assembly, the team ran the plant and tested aggregate feeding, cement weighing, mixing, and discharging. A banner now hangs on the conveyor. It reads: “AGICO CEMENT — 120 m³/h Batching Plant Successfully Completed.”
- Plant Model: HZS120 concrete batching plant
- Capacity: 120 m³/h
- Mixer Type: Twin shaft forced mixer
- Application: Concrete supply business
- Delivery Time: 50 days
- Installation Time: 46 days
Installation Process
The plant arrived in modules and was assembled on site:
- The site team prepared the foundation and cleared the ground.
- Containers were unloaded. Crates, pipes, and steel parts were placed near the work area.
- A crane lifted the blue steel columns and platforms into place.
- The two cement silos were set up. Screw conveyors were connected from the silos to the mixer.
- The inclined belt conveyor was fixed to the tower with red rollers and guardrails.
- The white control cabin was mounted on the middle platform, and all cables were wired.
- The team then ran the plant and tested aggregate feeding, weighing, mixing, and discharge.
The two videos below show the plant working on site. You can see the aggregate bins, the belt conveyor, and the material flow.

Customer Background
The customer runs a concrete supply business in Chile. Their projects need a large and steady flow of concrete every day. The site sits in a green area with many tall trees. The rainy season turns the ground into mud. Even so, the plant must keep working and keep the mix quality stable. Before this project, the customer compared several plant makers. They wanted a plant with a real output of 120 m³/h, a strong mixer, and an easy-to-learn control system. They chose AGICO because our design is clear, our steel structure is strong, and our engineers stay with the customer from drawing to commissioning.
Customer Requirements
During the selection stage, the customer listed their key needs:
- The plant must reach an output of 120 m³/h for daily concrete supply.
- The mixer must be a twin shaft mixer. It must mix fast and evenly in every batch.
- Cement must be stored in silos and moved in a closed way. No dust on site.
- The control system must be automatic. One operator should run the plant.
- The steel structure must be safe. Workers need stairs, platforms, and guardrails.
- Installation must be fast, and local workers must learn to run the plant quickly.
- Spare parts and after-sales service must be easy to arrange.
AGICO Customized Solution
AGICO designed and built a complete HZS120 plant for this site. Here is how we met each need:
- HZS120 concrete batching plant with a twin shaft mixer: The plant reaches 120 m³/h. The twin shaft mixer has strong mixing arms. It handles big batches and finishes them fast, so the plant keeps a steady rhythm.
- Two cement silos + screw conveyors: Cement is stored in silos and moved to the mixer in closed pipes. This keeps the site clean and the cement dry.
- Aggregate batching machine + belt conveyor: Sand and stone are weighed in separate bins, then lifted to the mixer on an inclined belt. The belt runs smoothly and needs little care.
- Automatic control system: The operator works in a control cabin with a screen. Recipes are stored in the system. Batching, mixing, and discharge all run by one click.
- Dust collector: The dust collector on the silo keeps dust away from the air and the machines.
- Safe steel structure: The whole plant stands on a strong steel frame. Stairs, walkways, and red guardrails make daily checks easy and safe.
- Commissioning, training, and spare parts: AGICO engineers worked with the local team during assembly and testing. We also provided a spare parts package and operator training.
Project Results
- Daily Output: The plant reaches 120 m³/h and keeps a steady supply for daily concrete orders.
- Labor Cost: One operator can run the plant from the control cabin.
- Mixing Efficiency: The twin shaft mixer mixes each batch fast and evenly.
- Product Quality: The mix stays the same from batch to batch, so the concrete quality is stable.
- ROI Period: Stairs, platforms, and clear layout make daily checks quick and easy.
Customer Feedback
“The plant works well and reaches the output we need. The steel structure is strong, and the twin shaft mixer gives us an even mix in every batch. AGICO’s engineers stayed with us until the plant ran well. Our team is happy with this project.”
