HZS120 Concrete Batching Plant Installed in Suriname

AGICO’s Construction Machinery Division is installing a 2-cubic-meter ready-mix concrete production line for a Suriname customer, progressing smoothly under South America’s tropical climate.

Project Overview

In 2026, AGICO’s Construction Machinery Division commenced on-site installation of the HZS120 concrete batching plant in Suriname. The main frame of the batching plant has now been fully positioned, and two split-type 90-ton cement silos are being assembled piece by piece. The entire production line is expected to be commissioned and operational within several weeks. Upon completion, the project will provide a stable supply of ready-mix concrete for local municipal construction and commercial projects.

Installation Process

After the equipment arrived at the construction site in Suriname, the technicians from AGICO Construction Machinery Division assisted the client with the construction process via remote guidance and video link. Currently, the mainframe frame of the concrete batching plant has been lifted and positioned. Two 90-ton modular cement silos are being pieced together one by one. Next, the screw conveyor, batching machine and control system will be installed in sequence, and finally, the entire machine will undergo integrated debugging.

Customer Background

Suriname is located in the northern part of South America. The climate there is humid and hot, with a long rainy season. The demand for commercial concrete in the local construction market has been steadily increasing. The client is a construction company based in the local area that undertakes municipal and residential projects. Previously, they relied on manual mixing and small mixing equipment, which made it difficult to keep up with the project schedule in terms of output and mixing quality. Therefore, they decided to introduce a medium-sized concrete batch plant to control the supply of concrete themselves and reduce the cost of purchasing externally.

Customer Requirements

The client put forward several strict requirements during the selection stage:

  1. The single concrete mixing station’s production capacity must be stably maintained at over 100 m³/h, and it should be able to supply materials to multiple construction sites simultaneously.
  2. The concrete mixer must be selected from international leading brands to ensure stable concrete mixing quality.
  3. The cement silo adopts a modular structure, facilitating transportation in shipping containers and on-site hoisting.
  4. The entire concrete plant needs to adapt to the outdoor working environment with high temperatures, humidity and rain during the rainy season.
  5. The control system should be simple and easy to use, and local workers can independently operate it after short-term training.
  6. The total budget for equipment procurement and transportation should be controlled within 250,000 US dollars.

AGICO Customized Solution

Taking into account Suriname’s maritime transportation conditions and usage environment, AGICO has provided the following configurations for customers:

  1. SICOMA MAO3000/2000 mixer machine: Discharge capacity of 2 m³ per tank, twin-shaft forced mixing, with high mixing uniformity and stable production efficiency.
  2. 2 separate 90-ton cement silos: Factory-sealed and assembled on-site, significantly reducing the volume of maritime transportation and lowering the difficulty of lifting.
  3. PLD3200 four-bin batching machine + belt conveyor feeding: Accurate aggregate measurement and continuous, uninterrupted feeding.
  4. Fully automatic PLC control system: Automatic execution of batching, mixing, and discharging throughout the process, reducing human errors.
  5. Screw conveyor and pneumatic discharging system: Fully sealed powder material transportation, eliminating dust.
  6. Comprehensive dust removal system: Meeting on-site environmental protection and occupational health requirements.
  7. Random accessories and wear parts package: Ensuring subsequent maintenance and after-sales supply.
