Twin Shaft Mixer Batching Plant Installed in Thailand
Project Overview
- Plant Model: Stationary concrete batching plant
- Capacity: 90-100 m³/h
- Mixer Type: Twin shaft mixer
- Application: Thailand, utility pole factory
- Delivery Time: 32 days after the order is confirmed
- Installation Time: About 40 days
Installation Process
The plant came in modules and was assembled on site. AGICO engineers worked with the local team step by step:
- A crane lifted the main frame and the belt conveyor into place.
- The two cement silos were set up and connected with screw conveyors.
- Workers installed the aggregate bins and wired the control system.
- The team ran the whole plant to test feeding, mixing, and discharge.
The videos below show the plant on site in Thailand. You can see material feeding and concrete discharge in real working conditions.
Customer Background
Customer Requirements
During the selection stage, the customer listed their key needs:
- The mixer must be a twin shaft forced type. It must handle dry, stiff concrete for pole casting.
- The mix must stay even from batch to batch.
- The plant should run long hours every day.
- Dust and spillage on site should be kept to a minimum.
- Local workers must be able to operate the plant after short training.
- Spare parts and after-sales support must be easy to arrange.
AGICO Customized Solution
AGICO designed a stationary concrete batching plant around a heavy-duty twin shaft forced mixer. This mixer type is a proven core for stationary batching plants and precast lines. Here is how we met each need:
- Twin shaft forced mixer — two counter-rotating shafts mix the concrete fast and evenly. The mixer handles dry, stiff mixes well and finishes every batch in a short cycle. High output and even quality, batch after batch. See how our twin shaft concrete mixing plant work.
- Stationary plant layout — every part sits at the right height, so materials flow down by gravity. Fewer moving parts mean fewer breakdowns.
- Cement silos and screw conveyors — cement moves in a fully closed pipe. This keeps the mix accurate, with no dust and no waste.
- Aggregate hoppers and belt conveyor — steady feeding keeps the casting line running without waiting. See our aggregate bins and belt conveyor.
- Automatic control system — one worker can start and stop the whole plant. Weighing, mixing, and discharge are controlled automatically, reducing human error.
- Dust removal system — keeps the site clean and safe for workers, and meets local environmental rules.
- Engineer support and training — AGICO engineers guided the installation and trained the local team. Spare parts are ready for fast after-sales service.
Project Results
- Daily Output: Steady concrete supply for the pole casting line.
- Labor Cost: Expected to decline by more than 38%
- Mixing Efficiency: Even mix in every batch, so pole quality stays stable.
- Product Quality: Even and dense concrete gives every pole stable strength and a smooth surface.
- ROI Period: About 12 months
Customer Feedback
“The twin shaft mixer keeps our mix even in every batch. This is very important for our pole quality. The plant is simple to run, and our workers learned it quickly. AGICO engineers supported us well during installation and training. We will keep using this plant for our pole production.”
