Working Principle of Concrete Pump Trailer
Starting Power Supply
The AGICO concrete pump trailer is equipped with a high performance diesel engine or generator set. Once started, it immediately provides stable power to the main hydraulic pump. The hydraulic pump efficiently pressurizes the hydraulic oil, converting it into a continuous source of energy, laying a solid foundation for pumping operations.
Compared to traditional construction methods, this efficient power conversion significantly improves energy utilization efficiency, reduces fuel consumption, and maintenance costs.
Conveying concrete
The advanced hydraulic drive system drives the double cylinder reciprocating motion:
- During the pushing stage, the piston rod extends, and the concrete in the cylinder is pushed into the pipeline under high pressure.
- During the suction stage, the other cylinder simultaneously retracts, and fresh concrete is quickly sucked in from the hopper.
Combined with precise distribution valve switching, the two cylinders alternate to form a “seamless cycle”, ensuring continuous and uninterrupted concrete flow and preventing material interruption, segregation, and pipe blockage. Even for long distance and high rise building pumping, the discharge can be maintained evenly and stably.
Precise pouring
The concrete is rapidly transported through horizontal and vertical pipelines and precisely reaches the construction target location. Whether it is the core tube of a high-rise building, the pier of a bridge, or the pouring of underground structures, the AGICO concrete pump trailer can achieve long distance, fixed point, precise pouring, minimizing the need for manual handling and secondary transportation.
