1. Preparation
- The concrete pump truck comes to the site. It parks on flat and hard ground.
- The legs go out to make the truck stable. This stops the truck from falling.
2. Operation
- Hopper: The concrete mixer truck pours concrete into the hopper at the back.
- S Valve: Under the hopper is the pumping system. Two oil cylinders work one by one. The S-shaped valve moves left and right.
- Suction and Push: When one oil cylinder goes back, it pulls concrete into the pump. At the same time, the other oil cylinder goes forward, pushing concrete into the pipe.
- Cycle: The S valve moves fast. It always connects with the cylinder that is pushing. The two cylinders work again and again. This makes a steady flow of concrete.
3. Conveying
Concrete goes into the pipeline. It moves up through the boom and comes out from the rubber hose at the boom end. The operator uses a remote control, and he moves the boom and hose to the place that needs concrete.
4. Cleaning
After work, clean the hopper, the pump, and the boom pipes with high-pressure water. This stops the concrete from becoming hard inside.
