concrete pump for sale
Concrete pumps are machines used to move concrete. They carry wet concrete from the concrete mixing plant to the place where it is poured. Using a concrete pump saves hard manual work and makes building faster. It also helps to pour the concrete more exactly where it is needed. The concrete pump works by using pressure to push the concrete through pipes.
Our concrete pumps have two types: concrete line pumps and concrete pump trucks. AGICO concrete pump has been sold in more than 100+ countries, and has gained a lot of customers.

Concrete Pump Working Principle
Concrete pump truck
The concrete pump truck comes to the site. It parks on flat and hard ground. The legs go out to make the truck stable. This stops the truck from falling. Concrete goes into the pipeline. It moves up through the boom and comes out from the rubber hose at the boom end. The operator uses a remote control, and he moves the boom and hose to the place that needs concrete. After work, clean the hopper, the pump, and the boom pipes with high-pressure water. This stops the concrete from becoming hard inside.
concrete line pump
The AGICO concrete pump trailer is equipped with a high performance diesel engine or generator set. Once started, it immediately provides stable power to the main hydraulic pump. The hydraulic pump efficiently pressurizes the hydraulic oil, converting it into a continuous source of energy, laying a solid foundation for pumping operations. The concrete is rapidly transported through horizontal and vertical pipelines and precisely reaches the construction target location.
Comparison of concrete pumps
| Feature | Concrete Pump Truck | Concrete Line Pump |
|---|---|---|
| Structure | Has a boom arm, built on a truck, a full vehicle | No boom arm, only a pump unit, needs pipes |
| Mobility | Very high, can drive and move by itself | Concrete Line Pump needs a truck to tow, a truck-mounted can move, but no boom |
| Flexibility | Very high, boom can move by remote, 360° rotation, and is easy to cross obstacles | Very low, depends on pipes, hard to change the pouring point |
| Setup Speed | Very fast (5–15 min), just open legs and boom | Very slow (hours), need workers to set and fix pipes |
| Labor Cost | Low, 1 operator with few helpers | Highly, many workers are needed for heavy pipe work |
| Pumping Height/Distance | Limited by boom length, commonly 30–60 m, max 100 m+ | Almost unlimited, pipes can reach 400 m+ and long distances |
| Cost | Very expensive, high to buy, rent, and maintain | Cheaper, good for long projects |
| Site Needs | High needs a large flat ground for legs and boom | Low, only space for the pump and pipes |
| Typical Use | Buildings, commercial centers, big projects with fast work | Tall towers, foundations, tunnels, water projects, and cost-saving jobs |
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Which type of concrete pump is better?
- Concrete line pump: Needs trucks to bring mixed concrete. Uses pipes, more workers are needed.
- Concrete pump truck: Has a long arm on a truck. Can pour concrete fast and in the right place. Good for tall buildings and big jobs.
- If you want the best concrete pump for your project, send AGICO an inquiry. We will give you professional advice.
How to choose the best concrete pump?
Think about the project size, the site, and the concrete type. A concrete pump trailer needs pipes, and a concrete boom pump has an arm for direct pouring. If you are not sure, ask us and we will help you choose.
What problems can happen when using a concrete pump?
The main problem is pipe blockage. If the concrete does not flow well, it can stop in the pipe, delay work, raise pressure, and even damage the pump.
What affects pumping time?
- Pipe length and bends: Long or bent pipes slow the concrete.
- Concrete quality: Thick (low slump) concrete moves more slowly.
- Site conditions: Crowded sites or bad weather make pumping slower and harder.
