wet mix concrete batch plant
A wet mix concrete batch plant, also known as “a central mix concrete plant“, is a major method for concrete batching. The wet mix concrete batch plant mixes all the components of concrete, including sand, gravel, and cement (including water), and then pours them into a mixer truck for transportation to the construction site. A twin-shaft concrete mixer is used to mix all ingredients. This is the only difference in configuration compared to the dry-mix concrete batching plant. Wet mix concrete batch plants can be either stationary or mobile. These two types of configurations are relatively similar, with the difference being that one can move freely while the other cannot.
- Price range of wet mix concrete batching plant
The cost price of wet mix concrete batch plants varies from $5000 to $500000, depending on various factors such as the price of concrete mixing plant equipment, equipment output, equipment service life, and other factors.
When considering the cost of the entire concrete batching plant, it is not enough to only consider the equipment price. There are also some other factors, such as Transportation costs, Installation fees, Maintenance costs, Water and electricity, Labor costs, Venue fees, etc. To determine the final cost.
Components of Wet Mix Concrete Plant
The wet mix concrete batch plant consists of a twin-shaft concrete mixer, aggregate batching machine, cement silo, screw conveyor, and batch control system.
| Mixing System | Twin shaft mixer | The twin-shaft concrete mixer has a sturdy steel structure and a thick internal wear-resistant lining. The AGICO twin-shaft concrete mixer blade structure has been specially designed to have high wear resistance. The tray assembly of the mixer has been reinforced to prevent malfunctions, and we have extended its service life by improving the structure. AGICO twin-shaft concrete mixer can mix granular materials with a diameter of up to 150 millimeters. Our mixer blade structure design and quality are in a leading position in the market. |
|---|---|---|
| Weighing System | Heavy duty mainframe | Heavy-duty mainframes can minimize the vibration generated during loading, belt operation, and mixing processes during normal operation. Less vibration can not only improve accuracy but also increase weighing speed, thereby helping to enhance overall capability. |
| Independent weighing hopper | In all AGICO concrete mixing plants, the weighing hoppers for cement, water, additives, and other materials are separated from the mixer frame and installed on separate chassis to minimize vibration. | |
| Design of multiple weighing sensors | The cement and water scales have two weighing sensors to optimize load distribution and maximize accuracy. On the other hand, the directional connector allows for free movement and prevents the load cell and other connections from malfunctioning. | |
| Conveying System | Hopper elevator | The hopper elevator option is typically used for small and medium-sized projects. It is cost-effective and occupies less space. |
| Belt conveyor | The belt conveyor feeding option is used for large-scale projects. It can handle larger aggregate sizes and ensure more continuous concrete flow. | |
| Double rope bucket lifting system | All AGICO hopper lifting systems use two independent ropes and flexible connections to the hopper. This application can extend the service life of ropes, reduce the risk of failure, and provide additional safety protection for workers. | |
| Safety system of skip hoist | All AGICO hopper lifting systems are equipped with a rope tension control mechanism. If the tension of the rope is insufficient or one of the ropes breaks, the switch will trigger an alarm. This mechanism can prevent the hopper from falling, making the overall operation safer. | |
Independent aggregate discharge door | Each compartment of the aggregate bin at the AGICO concrete mixing plant is equipped with two pneumatic-controlled discharge doors. This ensures that the aggregate is quickly loaded onto the weighing belt and accurately measured to achieve maximum accuracy. | |
| Storage System | Aggregate bin | AGICO produces aggregate bins in both circular and square shapes. Square silos optimize space utilization, while the coverage of square structures is much simpler. Our aggregate bins capacity typically ranges from 10.00 tons to 50.00 tons. We can also provide larger aggregate bins, up to a maximum of 100.00 tons. |
| Cement Silo | AGICO customized cement silos. We can design enclosures with capacities ranging from 100 tons to 600 tons or even larger, accommodating up to 8 compartments. | |
| Control System | Computerized Fully Automatic Control System | The AGICO control system adopts a visual and intuitive system, with a reliable and easy-to-use touchscreen interface and PLC-based logic, which can avoid the defects of Windows-based systems. This system is an ideal choice for large and medium-sized concrete producers seeking reliable and precise control systems. |
| Relative Products | Wide main chassis | The maintenance platform inside the host box is currently one of the best maintenance platforms on the market. The control cabinet is installed on the chassis, which can quickly solve various faults of the operator. |
| Factory fully pre wired and tested | There is almost no need for any cable work on site, as all equipment is pre wired at the AGICO factory, thus minimizing on-site installation time to the greatest extent possible. All mechanical and electrical components have been tested to prevent any possible malfunctions, ensuring quality and reliability. | |
High-quality components | Our concrete mixing plant only provides high-quality components from globally renowned brands. Ensure the long-term reliable continuous operation of the machine and minimize the possibility of malfunctions. |

Types of Wet Mix Concrete Batch Plant
According to aggregate transportation methods, wet mix concrete plants can be further divided into belt conveyor concrete batching plants and hopper conveyor concrete batching plants. Both types of wet-mix concrete batch plants are equipped with aggregate bins, weighing systems, cement silos, screw conveyors, and twin-shaft mixers. The difference between these is minimal.

The difference is that in the hopper conveyor concrete batching plants when the aggregate batcher is batching, the aggregate is directly lifted to the twin-shaft concrete mixer through the hopper.

In the belt conveyor concrete batch plant, the well-proportioned aggregates are transported to the storage bin through the belt conveyor. Most importantly, The belt conveyor, with a lid and a storage bin, allows the aggregate to be kept out of contact with the outside world, making it more environmentally friendly and producing higher-quality concrete.
Application of Wet Mix Concrete Plant
Wet mixed concrete plants, or central mixed concrete plants, have twin-shaft concrete mixers and produce high-quality concrete. Therefore, central mixed concrete batch plants are widely used in many construction projects.
